Lil Ethel’s Soul Food Kitchen was created from a simple truth: the Antelope Valley needed real, authentic soul food—the kind that warms the heart, fills the home with rich aromas, and brings families together around the table.
Founded by Derrick and Stacey Jackson, Lil Ethel’s is more than just a delivery-only kitchen. It’s the blending of southern heritage, home-grown recipes, and a lifelong love for cooking. With roots deeply planted in the South, both Derrick and Stacey grew up surrounded by the flavors, traditions, and warmth of soul food kitchens run by parents, grandparents, and neighbors who believed in feeding both the body and the soul.
ABout us
Living in Palmdale and seeing the lack of true southern soul food options, Derrick and Stacey felt called to fill the gap. They wanted to bring authentic dishes—made with love, patience, and real ingredients—to families across Palmdale and Lancaster. The goal was simple: bring the comfort of home-style soul food to your doorstep.
Named in honor of heritage and family traditions, Lil Ethel’s Soul Food Kitchen represents love, community, and the belief that good food should be accessible, affordable, and unforgettable.
